Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
A depth-oriented treatment that explores the unconscious roots of psychological suffering and the relational patterns that shape our inner lives.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy proceeds from the understanding that much of our mental life — our desires, fears, conflicts, and defenses — operates outside conscious awareness. Symptoms such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and a persistent sense of emptiness or dissatisfaction often have roots in experiences and conflicts that have never been fully understood or articulated.
In psychodynamic treatment, patient and therapist work together to bring these unconscious processes into awareness — to understand how the past continues to shape the present, and how patterns formed in early relationships are repeated in current ones. This understanding, developed within the context of a genuine therapeutic relationship, creates the conditions for lasting change.
Sessions may be once per week or up to four times per week. The work is open-ended and exploratory, proceeding at a pace determined by the patient's needs and readiness.

Psychiatric Services
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults, with an emphasis on individualized, thoughtful care.
Psychiatric services begin with a thorough evaluation — a careful exploration of your history, current symptoms, and the context in which they have developed. This assessment informs a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and goals.
When medication is indicated, Dr. Chablani provides ongoing medication management with attention to both efficacy and tolerability. Psychiatric care is often offered in coordination with psychotherapy, recognizing that the most effective treatment for many conditions combines both approaches.
